Five To View: Houses in Turkey
A recent report claimed that Turkey has what it takes to be a potential hotspot for property investors over the coming twelve months.
So, because holiday season is well and truly underway – and the much promised barbeque summer hasn’t quite materialised – we decided to have a little jaunt overseas to Turkey for this week’s Five to View.
And what an enjoyable trip it’s been, too. We’ve picked a mix of holiday-esque homes in a variety of locations, with prices ranging from “That’s amaaaazing value!!” to “Blimey, that’s a bit steep.”
Starting with the highest priced, here are our tasty Turkish delights*:
*(I know, I know, I’m sorry…!)

Those stunning houses are a bargain. My favourite is the Fethiye property beautiful views.
Turkey Property market has been quite dynamic these days. Very unique deals that have not been taken place so far are now available on the table.
Especially below market value products are more popular. The developers who are in financial trouble are offering very suprising prices per meter square.
The international investors should work on the turkish market very well and take the advantages of global crisis prices altough there is no such a crises in the Turkey.
For instance, the local market is very strong in Istanbul at the moment. I witnessed the developers who sold over 1000 units from per project in 1,5 month time. The locals were waiting in the que to buy property because of the fallen prices.
Hope this useful information helps…
I love Fethiye as well because there is a unique natural views where you can rarely find another place. Such an amazing place to visit but I can not say the same for Fethiye Property Market. Its not that popular now as it was in past because of the high price increase on lands to be developed. Price per sqm for any off-plan apartment and villa are now quite expensive once you compare with other investment spots in Turkey. I personally prefer Bodrum for a holiday town investment which still offers outstanding discounts and price per sqm with a sea-view apartment or villa…
In regards to the best property spot in Turkey , I can advise anyone to invest in Istanbul for the best capital appreciation and easy high year round rental income…. Investors are taking the advantages of up to 12% rental income per year if they invest in right location in Istanbul..
